Lighting a Dojo :
When lighting a dojo, we recommend floodlights installed overhead, i.e. above the contest area. We select the best floodlights to provide optimum light over the whole arena. Several illuminance levels are recommended: 750 Lux for international events, 500 Lux for Competitions and 300 Lux for Training.
