Lighting for Padel Floodlights Illuminance levels Dimensions and layouts Specifications Sports Guide

Lighting a Padel court :

The layout of lighting poles is the same for all Padel courts and consists of 2 poles standing 6 or 7 metres high on either side of the court.

For Padel court lighting, we refer to the lighting standards defined in the Padel specification issued in November 2022 by the French Tennis Federation (FFT):

300 Lux for outdoor and indoor courts

750 Lux for international competitions

The uniformity coefficient is the same as for tennis courts; it must not be less than 0.5.

Lighting a Padel court with 6 or 7m-high poles requires the right floodlights. We recommend two of our floodlight models from the Speqtris Sport range:

Illuminance levels for Padel courts are standardised in the FFT’s technical specifications :

Measuring Padel court illuminance :

Padel court illuminance is measured at 15 points as shown on the diagram below.

Padel court dimensions:

Technical specifications are a document necessary for any public procurement contract. They define the buyer’s requirements. For padel court lighting, illuminance standards must be met to ensure that each lighted court is compliant.

• 300 lux minimum à maintenir ;
• coefficient d’uniformité ≥ 0,5.

Les mesures sont réalisées sur 15 points répartis sur la surface de jeu.
